Hello,
As you may have heard in the media there is an unprecedented international health crisis occurring all around the world which effects us all. Even us here in sleepy Devon where nothing much ever happens! I wanted to write this post to outline the New Coast position, approach and outlook to these really tricky times.
Firstly, we as a business are not going anywhere!! We are prepared to fight for our business, for our amazing clients and will not let this slow us down. We may have to come up with some ideas on how we can bridge the gap and pay bills but I am confident that we have built solid foundations that can stand strong, besides I could always sell a kidney 😉
We are all in this boat together whether you are the client, supplier or guest we are all in the same situation so solidarity is key. I encourage anyone reading this to stay calm, be positive and show empathy to those around you! We may all have to compromise in some way to get through this. This is not a time for being selfish or to panic.
If you are a NCE client then rest assured that we are not cancelling or shutting down or taking a long break. Nope! We are still moving forward albeit from the comfort of our own homes for now whilst tackling any and all admin and planning jobs we can. We have a large team of young, fit and healthy staff all eager to carry on and cater for all events and stick to the plans and promises we made until we hear otherwise from you.
However, we understand that it is not our choice to continue with your wedding or event. That decision lies with you, our advice would be to think clearly and make an informed balanced decision. Do not get caught up in the hype of the media but also listen to the experts there is a middle ground you just have to think clearly to find it. We are here to help with anything we can and I am sure most of you have either mine or Fran’s mobile numbers, please feel free to call at anytime.
When it comes to your events if you do decide to postpone and reschedule then we will do all we can to make a new date fit in our diary. We will not charge you anything for moving the date. We will be as flexible as we can be to provide the agreed service but if you do decide on cancelling all together and pulling the plug then any deposits or monies received will not be returned.
My main job is to protect the business to ensure we can cater for every event we have in the diary in 2020 and beyond.
Please stay safe, positive and don’t panic and if you need help with anything we are here to help you.
Thanks again for your continued support,
Matt Beveridge.
